How We Got Started
Our Leadership Team
Entreda's senior leadership team has over 100 years of combined experience in cybersecurity technology and 40 years of combined experience in the financial services (RIAs and Broker Dealers) and Healthcare industries.
Co-founder and CEO
Sid co-founded Entreda in 2011 and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s vision and day-to-day operations.
Sid is a serial entrepreneur with three start-up’s under his belt. Prior to Entreda, Sid served as Vice President of Product and Business Development at venture funded start-up Plato Networks which he sold to Netlogic Microsystems subsequently acquired by Broadcom for $4B. Prior to Plato Networks, Sid worked on several technology ventures in Silicon Valley and was part of an elite team, funded by the NSA, to develop a Suite B flow-through cryptographic processor to protect critical infrastructure of US National Interest. Sid holds dual Bachelor of Science Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. Sid serves on the advisory board of numerous venture-funded start-up’s and is an active contributor and speaker for many cybersecurity organizations.
Co-founder and Engineering
Farshad co-founded Entreda in 2011. Farshad’s team is responsible for global engineering of Entreda’s award-winning Unify Cybersecurity Risk Mitigation Platform.
Prior to Entreda, Farshad spent over 10 years at Broadcom Corporation, a fortune 500 technology company where he was responsible for applications engineering functions specifically for Broadcom’s multi-core processor and Wi-Fi products. At Broadcom, Farshad provided engineering support and co-ordinated engineering deliverables for highly demanding accounts like Netgear, 2wire/Pace, Cisco and NetApp. He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
Technology and Operations
Chris joined Entreda in 2018. Chris and team are responsible for working with top enterprise clients in the financial and insurance verticals to ensure an un-paralleled service delivery experience.
Prior to Entreda, Chris served as CIO for ProEquities Broker Dealer (part of Protective Life) for over 14 years and was responsible for the internal and external system development, technology support, and technical vendor management. Prior to ProEquities, Chris worked as a software engineer at QMS, a pioneering technology company based in Alabama. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Economic and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama. Chris holds the Series 6, 7, and 66 licenses.
Demand Generation and Customer Success
Ana joined Entreda in 2015. Ana’s team is responsible for Entreda’s demand generation, customer operations and customer success functions to ensure the highest degree of client satisfaction regardless of the size of the firm.
Prior to Entreda, Ana was part of the sales operations team at Yana K, an upstart fashion brand based in Los Angeles. Prior to Yana K, Ana was part of the event management team at ZINO Society, Seattle’s premier angel investing membership group.
Ana earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington.
Product Support and Customer Service
Rishi joined Entreda in 2016. Rishi’s team is responsible for managing product support and all customer service functions to ensure Entreda customers receive the best support possible.
Prior to Entreda, Rishi served as an IT consultant for several years at Alain Pinel, a luxury real-estate management firm in Northern California. At Alain Pinel, Rishi worked closely with their top real estate agents to ensure they were utilizing the latest technology and security tools to manage their day-to-day operations. Rishi holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University.

Chairman of the Board, Investor
Jay is a serial entrepreneur and active angel investor in numerous start-up's. He co-founded Fiberlane which split into Cerent Corp and Siara Systems which were both acquired for a combined valuation of $11.2B. Jay also co-founded StatumOne which was sold to Cisco for $500M. Jay was founding director of APIgee acquired by Google, and early investor in Virident acquired by Western Digital. Jay's other start-up successes include Bioimagine, Ambit, Magma and Catamaran. Mr. Sethuram has over 30 years of engineering management experience in technology firms. Mr. Sethuram holds an M.S.E.E. from Washington State University and a B.S.E.E. from Madras Institute of Technology, India.
Board Member, Investor
Jens is an active investor and his current and former portfolio companies include, AeroQuestUSA, BrainRewards, Executive Mindshare, Flyngo, iKlick, intelli-Pharma/Elytix, Kachingle, MinuteKey, Entreda, and VyyCore. Currently, he also is an investor and Venture Partner in The Entrepreneurs Fund, TEF III. Jens serves as VP of Entertainment Technology, which later acquired DVDPlay (the original technology behind Redbox Kiosks). He serves as CTO and previously as a founding President and CEO. Prior to DVDPlay, he was President of OpenGrid, after it was acquired Ensemble Solutions, which Jens founded in 1966. Jens holds more than 12 patents, has taught classes for UC Berkeley, and is frequent keynote speaker, addressing audiences on business opportunities of new technologies, funding, venture capital and startup experience. Jens served on the board of Acceleware (TSX-V: AXE), BrainRewards, Entreda, Flyngo, and is Chairman of Kachingle. Jens holds an MSEE/CS from the University of Braunschweig, with continued education at Stanford.
